At the core of ADHD coaching lies a fundamental principle:

Everyone’s Brain is Unique.

Coaching isn’t about giving you ready-made solutions.  Instead, I’ll accompany you on your journey to find your own tailor-made tools and strategies, and together we’ll design a life that works for you.

ADHD Coaching is an ongoing collaboration between coach and client in which we:

Identify which issues you’d like to work on

This might mean specific issues or a whole life reevaluation – or something in between – it’s your call.

Work out where you want to go

We’ll dig into the details of exactly what you’d like to change and what your ideal solutions would be.

Explore what's going on behind these issues

We’ll examine what is getting in your way: this might include beliefs, mindset, environment, relationships…

Develop your unique action plan

Together we’ll shift your mindset and come up with action plans, tools and strategies tailored to you.

Do you feel frustrated because you keep struggling with the same things, no matter what you try?

Coaching can help you:

  • Work out what you want your life to be like: what do you want more of and what do you want less of?
  • Explore what you are naturally good at and how you work best so that you can finally feel like you’re reaching your potential.
  • Work out how your environment needs to be set up to help you rather than hinder you, and make these changes happen.
  • Look at whether you are missing boundaries in your life and/or relationships.
  • Find tools and strategies which really help YOU to regulate your emotions, focus on important work, get those boring tasks done, arrive on time, stop losing/forgetting things… and much more.

“Having my coaching sessions with Ursula has helped me to move forward with my big idea in manageable steps. She helps me to identify just a few things to do that help me to keep moving forward. She keeps it simple while also giving time for self-examination and self-understanding. I feel better about myself and can talk through self-doubts in order to move past them. She has great belief in me and this helps me to believe in myself. I really enjoy my time with Ursula and look forward to each session. She is kind and understanding. She really listens to me and I feel that she really gets me.”

Frequently asked questions

My speciality is working with late-diagnosed women.  However, if you do not fit into that category, I can still help: book a free consultation to find out if we’re a good fit.

Coaching can generally benefit anyone who is willing and ready to make changes in their life.  However, it may not be suitable in the following cases:

  • If you’ve been told you should have coaching by someone else, but you’re not really committed.
  • If you are currently in a crisis situation and need urgent help; coaching is a gradual process and takes time.
  • If you have a history of complex trauma and haven’t had therapy.  Therapy and coaching can sometimes work concurrently.  If you’re not sure, please book a free consultation and we’ll discuss your situation.

Absolutely.  Getting an official diagnosis can be a long and difficult path, and some people understandably decide to forego it altogether.  Self-diagnosis is valid.  Alternatively, you might have just begun to suspect that you have ADHD, and want to explore further.  Either way, coaching can still benefit you.

Coaching is currently an unregulated profession so anyone can indeed call themselves a coach, even if they have little to no training.  However, many coaches are highly trained and experienced.  I trained with ADDCA, the market leader for ADHD coaching and hold their AACC credential.  I am working towards accreditation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and I subscribe to the ICF’s Code of Ethics.

I trained as an ADHD coach with the ADD Coach Academy and hold their ADDCA Associated Certified Coach (AACC) credential.  I am currrently working towards the International Coaching Federation (ICF) ACC credential.  I subscribe to the ICF Code of Ethics.

ADHD-specific coaches have extensive training in the ways that the ADHD brain differs from a neurotypical brain, so they understand the challenges you face.  We won’t suggest standard solutions or assume that what is helpful or true for one person, must also be for others. In ADHD coaching, we will look at your unique set of strengths and challenges, and we’ll find solutions and strategies that work specifically for you.

I coach remotely, using the Google Meet platform.

I am located in the CET time zone and mostly coach between 10am and 3pm (9am-2pm UK).  When I can, I also offer a limited number of earlier or later sessions to accommodate different time zones and schedule changes due to daylight saving time starting and finishing.

It depends, every client is different.  On average though, most clients work with me for between 3 and 6 months, although many continue for longer, sometimes with less frequent sessions.  Change takes time, so a minimum of 3 months is usually recommended.

It’s recommendable to start with weekly sessions for the first 4-6 weeks, after which many clients switch to fortnightly sessions.  However, we can discuss during our initial consultation which frequency suits you best and adjust accordingly.

My standard rates are 90EUR / 80GBP per 1 hour session.

Yes, I’m happy to provide a quote for Access To Work funding.

If you are in the UK and in work, or about to start work, you may be eligible for Access to Work funding.

I also have a limited number of sliding scale places and can add you to a waiting list if none are available currently.

Please feel free to book a free call with me, even if you aren’t sure how you are going to pay for coaching, and we can discuss your options on the call.

My coaching sessions usually last 50-60mins and take place via video call.

However, I’m happy to adapt to your needs, for example:

  • If you struggle to focus for an hour, we could do shorter sessions
  • We could do audio rather than video calls
  • We could communicate non-verbally (for example, via email or chat)

If you have these or other accessibility needs, please book an initial consultation or send me an email via the contact form, and we’ll go from there.

I want you to be happy and make progress.  If at any time you feel that coaching isn’t working for you, let me know and I’ll be happy to refund any unused sessions.

You can cancel or reschedule your session up to 24hrs before the start time.  If you need to reschedule less than 24hrs before the session, I cannot guarantee that I’ll be able to reschedule, but I will try.  If you don’t show up to a session, you will charged for that session.
